Christmas Cornflake Wreaths are a classic, beautiful wreath that is always made with love. You can just imagine all the little hands helping you make these memorable wreaths for your family during this holiday season. These are one of my favorite treats to make along side with my children. I have fond memories of each of them creating their own little master piece.  For more classic holiday recipes there are Perfect Gingerbread Cookies, Peanut Butter Pinwheel Candy, or these Microwave Caramels.

Christmas Cornflake Wreaths

I am always impressed by the simple ingredients these wreaths entail and yet, they look stunning and delicious all in one photo. These wreaths mean more than just cornflakes and bits of candy. They show the Christmas spirit and the infinite love that is carried on throughout the month of December. These bring back memories as well as make memories with loved ones all around. I am sure by looking at these wreaths or hearing Christmas Cornflake Wreaths,  your mind is flooded with fond memories of making them or knowing someone who did make them. These are such a Christmas classic that you will make with your family again and again!

How Do You Make Christmas Cornflake Wreaths?

Measure cornflakes into a large bowl Melt Butter in a large saucepan over medium low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until it’s melted. Stir in food coloring. Add the marshmallows to the cornflakes and mix. Lay out a piece of parchment paper. Drop large spoonfuls of cornflakes onto the paper. Butter or lightly grease your hands and use your fingers to shape each into a wreath. Top with cinnamon candies.

Red Cinnamon Candies Substitutions and Ideas

If you do not love cinnamon flavor you can substitute it for Red Mini M and M’s, Red Sixletts or using Red String Licorice to make a bow on the wreaths. You can also add the Red Candies around the wreath in a pattern rather than just three bundle up together. The options are endless and are expected to be as creative as you feel inspired when making your own wreath.
